The Journal of Contemporary Issues in Business and Government is an open-access, peer- reviewed international journal dedicated to the exchange of original scholarly research that informs business decision making and/or government policy. The journal is cross-sectoral, interdisciplinary and eclectic, and contributions are welcome across a wide range of research methodologies (e.g., theoretical or empirical, using either quantitative or qualitative methods) and topics.

The main aim of the journal is advancing knowledge on theory and practice in business and government, and towards this end, draws on a comprehensive range of discipline areas, including business, management, marketing, economics, accounting, social science, organisational studies, international trade and finance,

and human resource management. All manuscripts submitted to this journal undergoes rigorous peer review based on initial editor screening and anonymous reviewing by experts in cognate fields. There is no submission fee for submitting articles to this journal or publication fees.

Potential authors are encouraged to communicate with the Editor-In- Chief about the possibility of publishing special symposia, papers and book reviews. In 2013, the Journal underwent a change of management from Curtin University of Technology in Western Australia to Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne.
